Every diagnosis drives treatment. We're building the infrastructure to make sure nothing gets missed along the way.
The Problem
Pathology reports determine treatment plans, trial eligibility, and staging decisions—yet pathologists sign them out under time pressure, without reliable access to current evidence, structured checks, or real-time context. Missed biomarkers delay targeted therapy. Omitted fields trigger amended reports. Guidelines change faster than any individual can track.
Our Approach
Conflux embeds structured context, live evidence, and pre-sign-out checks directly into the reporting workflow. We extract and synthesize diagnostic data in real time—connecting findings to current guidelines, relevant literature, and ancillary recommendations at the point of sign-out.
Chief Executive Officer
Perry believes high-dimensional clinical data will revolutionize medicine—and co-founded Conflux to help make it happen. Previously, he was on the founding team at insitro, leading data strategy, corporate development, and partnering. He holds an AB in physics from Princeton and a PhD in Bioinformatics and Integrative Genomics from Harvard, and spent five years between as a currency and rates derivatives trader.
Chief Technology Officer
Chris leads development of our pathology lab software and ML platform. Previously, he led the Clinical Machine Learning team at insitro, a drug discovery company focused on novel target identification from high-dimensional data. He holds a PhD in computational genomics and an MS in Computer Science from Stanford.
VP of Engineering
Alden works across the technology stack, bringing a background in biostatistics and machine learning together with deep industry experience in software development. He previously co-founded DataFox, a business intelligence platform acquired by Oracle. He holds a BS and MS from Stanford.
Founding Engineer
Salik works across design, frontend, backend, and machine learning. He has built software at Relativity Space and Dropbox, and co-founded a successful data visualization startup. He holds a BS and MS in Computer Science from Stanford.
Founding Engineer
Varun builds platforms for clinical diagnostics and life science research. Prior to Conflux, he led the Clinical Data Engineering team at insitro, and built lab automation infrastructure at Counsyl and Transcriptic. He holds a BS in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College.
Pathology Advisor
Ben is a board-certified pathologist and faculty member in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the University of Washington. His research spans the tumor microenvironment, metabolic dysfunction-associated liver disease, and digital pathology. He completed his MD/PhD and pathology training at Stanford.
